No, someone with a master key still can not enter a room. This lock fits on the door jamb and the bar is inside the door creating a block with the rod.
Is this lock adjustable for the thickness of a door?
Yes, the strap has 3 holes, accounting for the door width.
Can someone kick in the door with this lock on?
No, this lock is made of steel.
Can this lock fit on a door inside my house?
It depends on the width of the door frame. If it is a standard door not greater than 2", it will fit.
Will this lock work on a door that swings outward?
No it only fits on in-swinging doors.
